+ Can’t I just pay someone else to do my bookkeeping for me?
Yes! If you are ready to pay someone else to do all your bookkeeping for you right now, you don’t need this!
I say delegate everything that is outside of your Zone of Genius. But basic bookkeeping starts at about $200/month...at least $500/month if you also want someone to analyze your financials and help you make business decisions.
Even if you’re not ready to make that investment, bookkeeping is still something that needs doing. This is the simplest process with the easiest set-up, that will help you get the job done quickly each month until you’re ready to hand it off.
+ Can I keep my spreadsheets?
I do say that the best system is the one that works for you, and maybe so far that’s been spreadsheets.
But why enter data that already exists elsewhere when there is a software that is so easy to use, that will do it for you, and free up your time for other things you love that make a bigger difference in moving your business forward?
+ My system is pretty good and only takes an hour a month plus a few days at tax time. Why do I need your system?
You’re not here for just “pretty good.” Your system could be better! It could be easier and it could take less time. Just think of what you could do with extra time.
+ Can’t I just watch a gazillion YouTube videos and figure out how to use Wave on my own?
I do love YouTube University (it’s how I learned how to deal with my curly hair postpartum!).
